Dr Bruce Nelson:
Doctor of Chiropractic and Holistic Practitioner Advisor and member of The SHIFT U faculty

Dr. Nelson believes that stress overload is the beginning of all diseases, including Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Dr. Hans Selye was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, for his revealing work on how stress imbalances the body, specifically the adrenal glands. Dr. Nelson has expanded on Selye's work, to the benefit of his patients. “Stress comes in various forms: pregnancy, trauma (like an automobile accident), infections, allergies, surgery, emotional pressure, exposure to heat or cold, allopathic drug reactions, etc. Basically, these stresses push our body to the edge of its elastic limit. If we rebound from these stresses successfully, then we can go back to being normal and healthy. If not, our body is overcome by the stresses and we begin sliding down a slippery slope that ends in illness. It is important to realize that all illnesses (diseases) result from this process.”

Dr. Nelson explains further, “Stress overwhelms the adrenal glands, which become imbalanced electrically or energetically. If a gland is not functioning at 100%, it cannot do its job, as effective as it should. After the adrenal gland is affected, if the stressors continue, it begins a domino effect; eventually the liver, thymus or spleen is affected. They constitute the majority of the immune system, hence our immune system suffers and we become susceptible to infections that our body can not get rid of and often don’t even know that we have. In fact, I typically find two or more infections that are deep seated, in patients that have any disease, even though they have been on various amounts of antibiotics. Unfortunately, all diseases, including Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, are usually more than just balancing the immune system. Besides effecting the adrenal glands, in my opinion, stressors also cause the body’s PH (which should be about 7.4) to drop below 7, or normal. Below normal is acidic. This is where the entire problem begins. If you get an, infection your PH goes to about 6.8. All terminal ill patients PH is about 4.1. ." The SHIFT U is what the Dr. ordered. According to Dr. Nelson “there is a sure fire way to breaking through to the next level in life. However, we must take a holistic approach to be certain that balance is the key.” He goes on to say…”The problem may be complex to the layperson and perhaps overwhelming to them To me it always boils down to the body being stressed and then the results are the evidence in ones life. When stress is present, there are only two things that can happen. …Something comes into the body that is not supposed to be there, or something goes out of the body that is supposed to be in. I have helped hundreds of people figure out the imbalance and then help them correct it.

The SHIFT U program helps bring a well-rounded approach to people who want to move ahead and do it quickly. Both Garth and Wolf have components that amplify the effects of the work I do.

What is the one major key to helping people SHIFT?:
“Emotional blocks are one key but there are others to be considered. The Chinese have known for 3,000 years that when we internalize an emotion it always goes to a specific organ or gland. An example would be: Anger goes to the liver. This may cause an energetic imbalance in the organ or gland and associated muscles. This may result in misalignment of the bones. The emotional block has held many people from getting to the next level. That has been the culprit to many people I have worked with, weather they are pro athletes in top shape or everyday people who are so sick they can not get on with the basics of life.

Emotional blocks play a huge role:
A female client of mine had a locked in emotion that was associated with the liver, the emotion was one of fear. However, she was not able to pin point it on her own. I said it goes back to when you were 10 years old. Immediately the lights went on and she was able to zero in on the incident. We located it and released it right there and then. The next day she was able to shift to the next level.
A male executive client of mine could not get ahead in his career all he had was roadblocks along the way. In one session, I helped

Does it take long to release emotional blocks?
Not for me, but that is what I do. I am well respected for my capabilities. Simply put, I find the emotions and release them. I do it very quickly. I have helped people come from all over the United States and Canada.

Dr. Nelson says, “I am an old Montana Cowboy, and the breakdown of our bodies has to be simple to understand.” He explains his interpretation of the loss of health. Stress is the problem:

Stress is the problem:
“Stress overload is preventing people from getting ahead. When the human system is overloaded, the fuses in the electrical panel of the body are blown or about to blow. Why would the body allow you to keep overloading it? You cannot overload the electrical panel of your home so it goes similarly for the body.”

Do people keep sabotaging themselves?
For the most part...Yes, and that is why I like what Wolf and Garth have created they have helped bring remedy to the whole body mind picture.

About Dr Bruce Nelson
The son of Bruce and Ruth Nelson of Great Falls, Montana. Dr. Nelson relates that, “My mother was a health nut decades before it was fashionable. In the 1950’s she read all of the health books and went to the Health Food Stores. She had a photographic mind, so she remembered all of the things that she read. People would call her from all over the country and tell her of their symptoms. She would recommend the natural nutrition that they should buy from the Health Food Stores." “This is why I became a healer,” says Dr. Nelson. He and his two brothers and his two sisters husbands, became Doctors of Chiropractic. “We would try and stump Mom, with our knowledge, as we learned new things, however, she always knew about it and could explain a lot to us. Like many of us, we were told by Mom, “Never Say, Never.” So when someone says there is something incurable, I would say, “Never Say, Never.” When he was 13 years old, he tells, “I was at football practice, and felt like I was coming down with the flu. I went home and came down with Mononucleosis. It was the Epstein - Barr virus, or The Kissing Disease, as it was called then and I was teased. I was out of school for months. I had a fever that the doctors could not break for weeks. At the hospital, they put me in a room and took my cloths off. They turned the air conditioning on high, to try and break my fever. When it finally broke, I was home in bed for months. I remember sleeping all the time and being so weak, that I could not walk to the bathroom. I either crawled on my hands and knees, or rolled along the wall. So I have some knowledge of how the people with chronic fatigue feel.”
